About Us

Growing up in her family’s drapery workroom business, Emma Boursalian learned at an early age the value of excellent products and stellar customer service. This on-the-job experience served her well as it gave her a valuable and practical set of skills that sets her apart from other design professionals. While keeping her client’s taste and style in mind, Emma thrives on the challenge of designing custom-tailored looks that are both elegant and timeless.

After graduating from Arcadia University with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a heavy focus in architecture. Emma opened Avakian Design in Newtown Square in 2016, after over a decade of working in the field. She works with clients throughout the tri-state area, from New York to the Main Line, from Bucks county to Center City.
